Overhead Conveyor System

Overhead conveyors are the stars in the sky of material flow systems. They transport light to medium weight overhead material through manufacturing facilities or paint lines. They thereby overcome inclines and bends that can go on for miles.

Kewesta's floor-mounted conveyor systems take an absolute top-ranking position when it comes to circular conveyor systems. Due to our proprietary universal cardan chain, which has to this day proven its worth in thousands of conveyor systems, Kewesta can overcome even the most challenging layouts with small radii, without an impact on the chain.

All 55 Nn chains are pre-stretched before dispatch and will not stretch during the run-in process. This initial elongation observed with competitor chains can be around 3% and can lead to the need to remove chain pieces from the conveyor system continuously, as well as the need to adapt the controlling system within weeks after commissioning. Without this initial elongation, Kewesta conveyor systems achieve a safe operating point during production at a more rapid pace.

Furthermore, Kewesta chains are among the lightest chains available on the market in this load range. This attribute is particularly important when the chains are used in a range of temperatures and ovens. Here the low weight saves significant energy costs, especially since the chain will always transport a certain amount of heat out of the oven. Often the high-quality Kewesta chains will pay off through this aspect alone!

On request, Kewesta is proud to offer stainless steel chains as a special product.

Of course, Kewesta provides its circular conveyors as overhead or inverted floor-mounted conveyor systems.
